-radionica je namijenjena gitaristima svih stupnjeva predznanja i drugim instrumentalistima koji žele proširiti svoje glazbeno znanje
-pristup polaznicima će biti grupni i individualni, a za sudjelovanje potrebno je donijeti vlastiti instrument i notni papir/kajdanku

Teme i koncepti koji će se obrađivati:
- ritam, osnove ritma, sistemi ritmičkog fraziranja
- harmonija, od osnova do napredne jazz harmonije
- melodija, što je melodija i kako je stvoriti
- tehnike sviranja gitare
- improviziranje na zadane predloške
- slobodno improviziranje i trenutno komponiranje
- sviranje u raznim formacijama
- jazz blues, jazz standardi

Cijena za polaznike:

Opcija 1
Radionica, večera i koncert - 200 Kn.
(večera u restoranu Botela Marina od dva slijeda)

Opcija 2
Radionica i koncert - 150 kn.

Polaznicima radionice moguće je osigurati i smještaj na botelu po sniženoj cijeni.

Koncert Alessio Menconi & Zoran Majstorović održat će se s početkom u 20:30 sati u prostoru lounge salona, botela Marina.

Ulaz je slobodan za sve posjetitelje uz "pay fair" opciju što znači da se od posjetitelja očekuje da participiraju u organizaciji ovog koncerta proizvoljnim iznosom prema zadovoljstvu viđenim.

ALESSIO MENCONI

Alessio Menconi was born in Genoa, Italy in 1970. Considered a prodigy, in 1986 he started his professional career playing with the best italian musicians. In 1992 he won the award as “Best Soloist” in “Gran Prix du Jazz” and in 1993 he participated in “Eddie Lang festival”contest (the most important competition for guitarists in Italy), winning the first prize as the best italian jazz guitarist. He toured Europe, Asia, Africa, North-South-Central America and recorded over 40 cds. In 1995 Paolo Conte invited him to play in several world tours until 2004 and he recorded 4 cd’s with him. In the same period Billy Cobham also called him to play several concerts. In the same year, he has been selected in Paris to play with “ONJ” (Orchestre National du Jazz), and in 2003 he participated as the only Italian on the cd “Voodoo crossing-a tribute to Jimi Hendrix” with Robben Ford, Steve Lukather, Hiram Bullock ,Larry Coryell and many others. Lately he is leading his own trio and his solo project and he is the jazz guitar teacher at the Conservatory of Genoa.
He was awarded “Jazz lighthouse 2009 Career award” and in 2011 he was included in a cd compilation of the world’s best jazz guitarist as the only Italian.
He played in Italy, Switzerland, France, Brazil, Ecuador, Uk, Spain, USA, Austria, Guatemala, Belgium, Luxemburg, Holland, Poland, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Greece, Macedonia, India, Zambia,Germany and Canada.
Some of the most important musicians he has been playing with: Paolo Conte, Billy Cobham, Jimmy Cobb, Toninho Horta, Adrienne West, Shawnn Monteiro, Marcio Montarroyos, Stefano Bollani, Danny Gottlieb, Enrico Rava, Tullio De Piscopo, Daniel Humair, Albert “Tootie” Heath, Red Holloway, Franco Cerri, Gary Husband, Dado Moroni, Paolo Fresu, Carl Anderson, Franco Ambrosetti, Gary Bartz and many others…


ZORAN MAJSTOROVIC

Jazz musician, guitarist, multiinstrumentalist, sound artist, arranger and composer, begins to play guitar at the age of 9, and plays professionally since the age of 13. His first guitar teacher was his father, a well known guitar player in Rijeka area during 1960’s and 1970’s. Later on he studied with the most prominent guitar players in Croatia and studied with and/or attended workshops of many world famous guitar players like Scott Henderson, Robben Ford, Marc Ribot, Sid Jacobs, Kurt Rosenwinkel…
After playing shortly in some demo-bands he joins, at the age of 14, a pop-rock group called “Teens” and stays with that band for 7 years.During those years the band played hundreds of concerts in Croatia and abroad, winning many awards in Croatia and internationally (most notable Porin 2000.g.), releasing 3 cd’s, gaining high popularity and appearing on numerous music festivals in many different countries.
In the years that followed he collaborates with many famous singers, mostly in Croatia, takes part in different projects, recordings and orchestras in Croatia and internationally. He also obtained a master degree with maximum votes in jazz
performance at the jazz department of “Conservatorio G. Tartini” in Trieste, Italy. He has also won awards like “Damir Dičić” award as the best Croatian jazz guitar player in 2013. and “Status” award as the best Croatian etno musician/instrumentalist in 2013.
Beside playing with many jazz&etno musicians from Croatia and his region, he played and/or recorded with many instrumentalists from different countries like Corey Christiansen, Pat O'Leary, John Stowell, Russ Spiegel, James Weinstein, James Thompson, Oleg Kireyev, Carlos Werneck, U.T.Gandhi, Francesco Bearzatti, David Boato, Giorgio Pacorig, Tommasso Cappellato, Dario Carnovale, Asaf Sirkis, Yaron Stavi, Alfonso Deidda, Andre Araujo, Alvise Seggi, Luca Colussi, Simone Serafini, Jacob Melchior, Joe Kaplowitz, Eldar Saparayev, Vasko Atanasovski and many others…and also played or redorded with many international vocalists like Gabrielle Stravelli, Nancy Vieira, Arsen Dedic, Tamara Obrovac, Rade Serbedzija, Milk and Coffee, Lino Rocha, Ty Le Blanc, Pastora Soler, David Elliot, Marcina Arnold, Lela Kaplowitz…
In various line-ups he played in jazz clubs and festivals in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, Austria, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Macedonia, Hungary, Netherlands, Montenegro, Germany, Finland, Romania, Switzerland...
Beside playing the guitar he is an acknowledged multiinstrumentalist playing and performing on various string instruments such as the oud, saz, pipa, charango, cindra, mandolin, sitar, tamburitza...
He is also a seasoned arranger in the jazz domain writing arrangements for many renowned groups and orchestras such as “Jazz orchestra HRT Zagreb”, “Big T Band”, “HGM jazz orchestra Zagreb”, “Orchestra Laboratorio”, “JazzIstra orchestra”, "GG Samobor", “The Wildflowers”, “B. Sercar’s Jazziana Croatica”…and of course writing for his own groups and the groups he takes part in as an instrumentalist.
His artistic interest is confined not only to jazz and etno music but is also expanded to other means of art that go beyond music and deal with sound as a material, an integral element of everyday life.Through sound art and site-specific concerts and performances Zoran tries to ensure that he is thought of not only as an multiinstrumentalist, arranger and composer but also as an conceptual artist that has different ways of expressing his artistic individuality. Projects and collaborations in the field of sound art and site-specific concerts and performances are performances at the MMSU Rijeka(Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art, Rijeka, Croatia), Spanish artist Laura Lanelli’s project “Dispersion”, “Štikla” series of concerts dealing with sound art and improvised music, concerts in different venues with his improvised music collective “Art Pollution”…beside being active in everything mentioned, Zoran is also teaching music, giving workshops and seminars, part-time organizing and promoting different cultural activities, mainly dealing with improvised music, etno and jazz music, sound art…
Zoran’s music and playing can be heard on different projects published by many record companies such as Croatia Records, IDM Music, Dallas records, Aquarius records, Orfej, LAD records, HIT, Birdland sound, Musica Jazz, Numar Un, Bono Records…
