Music from John Coltrane’s album INTERSTELLAR SPACE is music of an artist who has accomplished technical perfection and tasted worldly pleasures that accompany success and fame. It is music of an artist-mystic who is determined to seek for the Truth regardless of how it presents itself or the price that it requires from him.

This music does not aspire to be liked, does not aspire to satisfy or to offer consolation. Truthfully, it does not aspire to do anything. That is, it does not aspire to do anything less than to create a passageway to the moment, here and now, thus offering a possibility of space- travel by fractal expansion through dimensions which we cannot comprehend but can feel and experience through dreaming with our ears wide open.
